SESSIONS CHANGE STATEMENT FROM THE COMMITTEE
Dear UABC Members,
We would like to apologize for the inconvenience and frustration caused to those who attended our sessions this week. Due to multiple miscommunications and the unexpectedly high demand of the Rec Centre this semester, we were unable to secure the entire hall to host all our Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday sessions.
We understand that this has been disappointing and we are truly sorry for any frustration this has caused. Our team has worked hard to address this issue by finding alternative locations for our sessions.
Starting next week, our Tuesday session will be held at King’s School in Remuera, and we will provide a detailed explanation on how to get there in a separate post later today. For the majority of our Saturday sessions from 25th March onwards, we will be at ABA (99 Gillies Avenue), but due to tournaments, there may be times when we are only able to use three courts at the Rec Centre.
Unfortunately, we have not yet found a replacement venue for Thursdays, and we will only have three courts available at the Rec Centre.

We are continually negotiating with other venues to secure courts for Thursday sessions, and we will keep you updated with the latest information every Sunday through emails and on our social media pages.
We understand that these changes may not suit everyone's schedules and preferences, therefore, we are more than happy to provide a full refund for any member who wishes to opt-out due to these changes.
Please note that a full refund is available for all members until Sunday 19th March (end of Week 3). After this date, no refund will be available for Semester 1 sessions.
Once again, we apologize for any confusion or disappointment caused, and we appreciate your continuous support towards UABC. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. We hope to see you on the courts again soon.

SESSIONS CHANGE FAQ
Can I get a full refund if the new sessions don't suit me?
Yes. It's within our T&C that you can get a full refund within the first three weeks of the date you joined. If you joined during club expo, the last date for full refund is Sunday, 19 March 2023.
If I opt for a refund, what about my merch and/or my affiliation?
Since the merch order is already placed, you will still be able to pick up your merch.
For affiliation, however, you have to be a UABC member to be affiliated with ABA. Thus if you cancel your UABC membership, your affiliation with ABA will also be cancelled.
